Bristol Dorset & Somerset Branch

Following a decision taken at the recent AGM there will be no Branch meetings held for the foreseeable future. The exception will be the AGM which we will continue to hold.

This decision has reluctantly been made because reducing membership numbers over the last five years or more has resulted in seriously decreasing attendance at meetings not helped by the last two years of Covid regulations. Added to this we have had almost half the Committee retire this year, including two officers, with no volunteers to take over from them.

There is a small caretaker committee remaining and the Branch Secretary can still be contacted as usual.

The Branch Chairman, remaining and outgoing Committee members would like to thank all the members who have been so supportive over the years and the Committee members, past and present, who have worked hard to keep the Branch going. We hope that sometime in the future there will be renewed interest and we can start regular meetings again.
